Questions before you begin
The course
Is this an official Anthropic training program?
No. This is an independent preparation course built from Anthropic's publicly published exam guide. It is not created, reviewed, sponsored, affiliated with, or endorsed by Anthropic.
How is this different from just reading the exam guide?
The exam guide tells you what is tested. It cannot tell you whether you could make the call under production constraints. This course puts you in scenarios where every option is a defensible architecture, then explains why each one holds or fails.
Is it multiple choice, like the real exam?
Yes, throughout, and deliberately so. You practise in the format you will be tested in. What differs from a recall quiz is the options: each one is a plausible architecture, so trade-offs decide the answer rather than eliminating obvious filler. After you answer you get the reasoning for every option, not just the correct one.
Will passing this guarantee I pass the real exam?
No course can promise that and we will not claim it. This course is built to match the real exam's content domains, and the practice exam rehearses its format. Scoring on the real exam comes from Anthropic's own standard-setting process.
What does the course actually cover?
All five domains of Claude Certified Architect – Foundations (CCAR-F), with every task statement in the published blueprint mapped to its own scenarios, weighted the way the exam weights each domain. It finishes with a cumulative 60-item practice exam in the same four-scenario structure as the real thing.
Do I need Claude Partner Network access to use this course?
No. You can prepare with this course regardless. You will only need Partner Network access when you are ready to register for and sit the real CCAR-F exam.
For organizations
Can I use CCAR Prep for my team?
Yes, and it is designed for it. Every candidate works the same structured path through all five domains, so readiness means the same thing across the team rather than depending on how each person chose to study.
Can organizations purchase multiple seats?
Yes, self-serve. Start a team for $10, which is your own seat plus a dashboard, then add teammates one at a time for $10 each, invited by email as soon as payment clears. No minimum and no batching.
Do you offer seat management, cohort reporting, SSO, or LMS integration?
The team dashboard covers basic seat management and progress reporting, including final-exam status, for the team leader. SSO and LMS integration are not offered today. If those would decide it for you, tell us when you get in touch, and we can arrange something directly for larger teams.
How should we think about the cost for a team?
Most of the real cost is time rather than fees. Preparation hours come out of billable capacity, and every avoidable retry cycle pushes back the date you can staff certified people onto client work. Structured preparation cannot promise nobody fails. It can shorten that interval and make it consistent across candidates.
Certification and the Partner Network
Does completing this course count toward Partner Network requirements?
No. Completing CCAR Prep is not an Anthropic certification and does not make someone a certified practitioner. The course prepares candidates for the official certification process, which they complete with Anthropic.
Does having 10 certified people automatically make my company a Select partner?
No. Certified-practitioner counts are only one component of Anthropic's tier criteria. Anthropic publishes additional requirements, including deployed joint customers within the trailing 12 months and at least one public customer story. Certification counts alone do not earn a tier.
Who holds the certification, the individual or the firm?
The individual. Anthropic describes an active certified practitioner as someone holding a current Anthropic certification who has used Claude in the previous 90 days, which is why firms think in terms of a bench rather than a one-time achievement.
